Fun in the Snow

We know that many of you are not enjoying all that snowy weather you've been experiencing; but we're having lots of fun playing in it. I do have to admit that shoveling it gets old real fast; but I've got a couple of big strong guys here right now who can take care of that in the spots that need it. Delaney loves the snow and so do all of the dogs. Looking at the pictures you'll be able to see that some other members of the family are having fun too!

Here we are standing around Delaney's beautiful creation that sits right outside the back door so that he can look in and watch us when we aren't out there playing with him. Delaney's Aunt Heather sent her this beautiful snowman kit and we used all of the pieces to make this beautiful creation.

Delaney loves the sledding and we have a perfect sledding hill right in the back yard when we get enough snow to cover all the rocks.
The walk up the hill is great exercise and you can see that it sure doesn't bother Delaney.
Kelly and Sarah love retrieving no matter where they are and they also seem to love running through the snow.
Melissa and Tim ready for all the activity that is to come.
More sledding down the hill. Looks like the sled is going a different direction than the passengers are.
Just look at those smiles!
It was cold enough to put the big hood up just in time for the snowball fight that Delaney started.
Melissa pushed Delaney off the sled so that she could have a turn too.
When that trip back up the hill wore everyone out we moved to the deck to build a snowman or two.
Delaney can't wait to put the decorations on and watches Daddy add the nose.
Here is her finished product! Isn't he cute?
Not to be outdone, Tim and Melissa made their own creation. The dogs aren't quite sure what that funny looking thing might be.
One of those rides where Delaney decided to close her eyes and not watch; but as soon as she got to the bottom she was ready to go again, and again, and again!
She finally decided that she'd have to go by herself since she wore out everyone else.
After sledding she decided that she wanted a snow cave but then was convinced that some of the trees offered enough protection to her so she could hide.
We never get tired of playing in the snow.
Even Dakota was excited to come out and play in the snow. She was so happy to be out there that she even posed for a picture.

Here's a bonus video of one of the sled runs. Hope you're able to see the whole video! I'm sure we'll be back out there tomorrow morning for more snow fun.
