So, we got out all the ingredients and set to work. Delaney's first job was being sure that we had enough chocolate, both to sample and to melt for dipping. We also had to choose the biggest and best looking strawberries too.
While I was melting the chocolate for us to use, Delaney was busy with the camera recording the whole process to be sure that I was doing it correctly.

We have to be sure to get lots of chocolate on each one; but we do want to be sure not to use up all of the chocolate in the pan without having a little left for sampling too.
And, what do you do with any chocolate that might be left over? Why, you get a spoon and eat it of course!

And just a little chocolate on the face!

Once the chocolate was melted Delaney was ready to start dipping. It only took one example for her to see just how to do this and then she was ready to be creative.
She's got the hang of it and even knows how to set them down to cool before sampling them.

Delaney did have to stop and take a couple of pictures of the chocolate because the chocolate is the most important ingredient that we were using. (I'm only going to show one of the many pictures she took of this important ingredient!

Awww, Delaney had so much fun today. She keeps telling me that she is going to feed some her strawberries to Daddy as soon as he gets home.
I hope that Daddy gets home before Delaney falls asleep or she'll be really disappointed. Now if we could just get her to try some of them herself. It was a fun adventure!
